Research
My research at Columbia focuses on the ultrafast spectroscopic study of energetic charge carrier dynamics in emerging optoelectronic materials and 2D materials. I have developed THz spectroscopy and microscopy that are sensitive enough to study charge dynamics and collective excitations in 2D materials at the monolayer limit. Based on the fundamental understandings thus obtained, I am trying to explore new optical functionalities of materials.
